Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva participated in a cleaning campaign in Bilgah
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva and head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva participated in a seashore clean-up campaign in Bilgah.
More than a hundred volunteers joined the campaign organized by IDEA Public Union. About five tons of waste collected during the clean-up were delivered to the Balakhani sorting facility- “Temiz Shahar” OJSC.
The core goal of the campaign is to promote cleanliness on the seashore and involve people in joint efforts to protect the seaside environment.
It should be noted that IDEA carries out sustainable activities aimed at cleaning and restoring coastal areas in order to protect the unique biodiversity of the Caspian Sea and other water bodies of the Caucasus region.
IDEA Public Union calls on people to be sensitive to environmental protection while spending time on beaches, to keep the coasts clean, to behave responsibly by not throwing waste around, and not to leave waste in the area.
