National Salvation Day Celebrated in Ordubad on June 15
A solemn ceremony was held in the Ordubad district to mark June 15 – National Salvation Day. On this significant occasion, participants first visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of Ordubad city.
The event was attended by the Head of the Ordubad District Executive Authority, Receb Rehimli, deputies representing the district in the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, representatives of law enforcement agencies, heads and employees of various institutions and organizations, village executive representatives, municipal chairpersons, as well as members of the public.
During the visit, participants paid tribute to the great leader — the founder and architect of modern, independent Azerbaijan and the savior of the nation — by laying fresh flowers at his monument.
In honor of this remarkable day, a grand concert program dedicated to National Salvation Day was also organized in Ordubad city. Songs and poems were performed during the event, which was received with great enthusiasm.
