AZCON Holding Conducts Crisis Communication Training
AZCON Holding has organised a series of training sessions to strengthen the crisis communication knowledge and skills of employees from various ministries, other government institutions, and companies within the Holding’s ecosystem.
The training sessions were delivered by Toby Odone, an international crisis communication expert invited from the United Kingdom. The programme focused on developing effective communication strategies in crisis situations, managing media relations, making timely decisions, and strengthening inter-agency coordination.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the programme included practical exercises based on realistic crisis scenarios. Through simulation exercises, participants enhanced their ability to respond swiftly to crisis situations, deliver accurate and timely information to the public, handle media enquiries, and coordinate communication processes effectively.
The training aimed to enhance government institutions’ preparedness for potential crises, develop professional communication capabilities, and contribute to ensuring a unified and coordinated flow of information during emergencies.
Such practical training plays an important role in supporting timely and informed communication decisions during crises, maintaining public trust, ensuring citizen satisfaction, and minimising potential reputational risks.
