Major overhaul of “Uzeyir Hajibeyli” dry cargo vessel completed
The major overhaul of the “Uzeyir Hajibeyli” dry cargo vessel, operated by the Marine Transport Fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), an AZCON Holding company, has been completed.
During the overhaul at the “Zigh” Ship Repair and Construction Yard, the vessel’s main and auxiliary engines, as well as its machinery and pumps, were repaired. Piping and electrical installation, automation, and hull welding works were also carried out.
In addition, the vessel’s underwater and above-water sections were fully abrasive-blasted and repainted, while its accommodation and service areas were refurbished to meet modern standards.
