ASCO records 34% increase in dry cargo volumes
Cargo volumes carried by the dry cargo fleet of ASCO, a company within AZCON Holding, increased by 34% year-on-year in the first half of 2026.
During the first six months of 2025, ASCO’s dry cargo vessels transported 666,182 tonnes of cargo. In the corresponding period of 2026, this figure rose to 894,305 tonnes.
The highest monthly cargo volume in the first half of 2026 was recorded in may, when ASCO’s dry cargo fleet carried 200,910 tonnes.
ASCO currently operates a fleet of 16 dry cargo vessels, comprising 14 multipurpose dry cargo vessels and two Handysize bulk carriers.
