SOCAR President Meets with Chief Executive Officer of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A.
On 9 July 2026, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Carlo Corsi, Chief Executive Officer of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A..
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful partnership established between the companies over the years, and the importance of identifying new areas of potential cooperation to further expand mutually beneficial relations was emphasized.
The parties reviewed potential cooperation in the application of highly flexible feedstock solutions in the petrochemical sector, as well as opportunities to enhance productivity and improve energy efficiency.
They also exchanged views on the potential participation of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. in SOCAR’s international projects, as well as partnership opportunities in green energy and decarbonization initiatives.
Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between SOCAR and Technip Energies Italy S.p.A.
It should be noted that the document envisages the identification of potential areas of cooperation within the framework of the Petkim Master Plan project.
